How we list

This is a directory, not a lead marketplace. A useful city page has names, phones, yard addresses, and a permit note you can check. It does not have a forced email form.

Who gets on a city page

• The company has a working site or a documented phone, and a Texas (or that city’s state) street address we can point to.
• We prefer yards: a lot with trucks, boxes, or a landfill — not a virtual office.
• We will list a local operator with an office if they clearly run trucks in that city, and we say so.
• National haulers with a local depot or landfill can appear, labeled national.
• Franchises are labeled franchise. Brokers that only take web leads stay out of the hauler table.

What we will not do

• Invent a price. If the company does not publish a number, the cell says “call / request quote.”
• Copy another directory’s cards. DumpsterListing’s Austin page listed El Dorado Disposal at 580 Truck St, Placerville, California as an Austin company. That is a California hauler. We dropped it.
• Invent reviews, star ratings, or “people viewing this” counts.
• Treat a broker average as a local yard’s rate. If we cite a published range, we name the source and the date we saw it.

How a listing is checked

Open the company’s own site. Confirm phone, address, and sizes. Cross check a second source when the site is thin (Google Business, BBB, FMCSA SAFER for truck counts, city permit pages). Write the date. If we cannot verify, we leave it off.

Permits and banned items

Permit notes come from the city or from a source we cite on the page. Weight limits and prohibited items come from the hauler or a named marketplace FAQ. If nobody says it, the page says call the hauler.

How the page can pay for itself

• Homeowners call yards from the table. That is the product. We do not sit in the middle of that call.
• Haulers can request a free verified listing. Paid $29 / $79 placement is written on the page as coming. There is no checkout.
• Small-job and no-driveway visitors get Bagster and junk-removal links, labeled as not a roll-off. Those are the companies’ public pages with no tracking query parameters added. We do not invent click or revenue numbers.

Adding a city

City pages are JSON files plus one shared template. The README in the repo is the checklist. Austin is the filled example: /dumpster-rental/texas/austin.
